What’s New?
What does spring mean to you?
Every season the Counselors at the Center for Coping feature an article pertaining to whichever season we are approaching or in. Each season has its own special beauty and meaning.
“March winds and April showers bring forth May flowers”, is an old phrase depicting the three months that define spring. What a wonderful, revitalizing time of the year. Everything and everyone seem to come alive again!
We begin the season with March winds and unpredictable weather, then comes warmer weather with refreshing April showers, which, as we all know, help to bring us beautiful May flowers. But it doesn’t always work that way. Spring may start out a little unpredictably in March, but it’s well worth it for what the rest of the season has to offer.
As with most things in life, we see each season through our own personal lens. Some people may focus only on the positive, some on the negative, and some look forward to each season with joy, embracing whatever the season offers.
In this issue, we are not listing all the things that spring has to offer. Instead, we encourage you to make a personal list of what springs means to you.
Because our primary concern is your mental and physical well-being, we hope you will find more of the wonderful, joyous, and beautiful offerings of spring.
Wishing you all a springtime full of happy days, sunshine, and lots of smiles!

Coping Quote Corner
This section of E-Cope is dedicated to all the famous, or not-so-famous people who have been quoted all through history and in present times, giving us little tidbits of life that move us, inspire us, and make us ponder about ourselves, our lives, our relationships, or life in general.
Sometimes, it’s just one little sentence that can make us stop and think and give us the wisdom to find ways to cope with whatever life throws our way. Whether these words be serious, or humorous, they have withstood the test of time.
This year we have listed quotes that are humorous and lighthearted in hopes of putting a smile on your face as we embrace the ups and downs of this wondrous, joyous season we call spring.
